Electric bike grants and tax reductions for an Île-de-France company
An Île-de-France company that wants to equip its employees with pedal-assist company bikes or pool bikes will look first for public grants. Most cycling schemes are reserved for private individuals, the two Île-de-France funding windows open to a company for a bike are either modest or expressly closed to financing under a crédit-bail (the French finance-lease contract, a rental carrying a purchase option), and the lever specific to a fleet of company bikes is a tax reduction, not a subsidy, whose application to crédit-bail is not established. Page updated as at 10 October 2026.
Open and closed grants in 2026: the key points
As at 10 October 2026, no State grant finances the purchase of a bike any longer: the bonus vélo (the national bike purchase grant) and the prime à la conversion (the scrappage grant) were abolished by the décret of 29 November 2024, and the only sheet under the certificats d'économies d'énergie scheme (French energy-saving certificates, known as CEE) open to a company for bikes, reserved for cargo bikes, was repealed by an arrêté (ministerial order) of 29 September 2025; the sheet devoted to the pedal-assist bike is reserved for natural persons. Two Île-de-France funding windows remain open to a company for a bike. The Île-de-France Mobilités rental grant pays 150 euros per bike per year, capped at five bikes, and its application to crédit-bail is not settled. The grant from the Ville de Paris (the City of Paris) is reserved for the purchase of a cargo bike or a cargo tricycle and expressly excludes crédit-bail. The Ville also funds, up to 2,000 euros, the installation of a secure bike shelter at a Paris establishment.
The lever specific to a fleet of company bikes is a tax one: the corporate tax reduction under article 220 undecies A of the code général des impôts, equal to the costs of making the bikes available, taken into account up to 25% of the purchase or rental price of the fleet, for costs incurred until 31 December 2027. It presupposes use for the journey between home and work, and its application to a crédit-bail is not established. The forfait mobilités durables (the French sustainable-mobility allowance), for its part, is not open to bikes made available by the employer.
Two questions to settle before counting on a grant
The word “grant” covers two realities that official pages rarely tell apart: the grant paid to the private individual who buys their bike, and the grant paid to the employer who equips its employees. The first is plentiful and well documented, the second is rare. Before writing any subsidy into a financing plan, two questions have to be settled, in this order. Is a legal entity among the beneficiaries listed in the award regulations? And, if it is, do those regulations require the company to own the bike?
The second question is decisive as soon as the fleet is financed under a crédit-bail. Crédit-bail, within the meaning of article L. 313-7 of the code monétaire et financier, differs from a plain rental in the purchase option granted to the lessee: throughout the term of the contract the company uses the equipment without owning it, and ownership stays with the finance house until the option is exercised, if it ever is. Aid regulations that subsidise a “purchase” and exclude rental therefore shut the door on this arrangement, however solid the application.
Each scheme is dated and tied to its official source, listed at the end. The research covered the State, the Région Île-de-France (the Île-de-France regional authority), Île-de-France Mobilités, the Ville de Paris, the Métropole du Grand Paris, ADEME (the French environment and energy agency) and the certificats d'économies d'énergie scheme. It did not cover the eight départements franciliens (the county-level authorities of the Île-de-France region) taken one by one, nor the intercommunalités (inter-municipal authorities) and établissements publics territoriaux (territorial public authorities): no conclusion of absence can therefore be drawn about them.
IDFM bike grants: the purchase grant for residents, the bike rental grant for companies
Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) runs two cycling schemes with different audiences, purposes and amounts. One is closed to legal entities, the other is reserved for them.
The purchase grant, reserved for residents
The public Île-de-France Mobilités page announces a grant of up to 50% of the cost of the bike, capped according to its type: up to 400 euros for a pedal-assist bike, a folding bike or a non-assisted cargo bike, up to 600 euros for a pedal-assist cargo bike and up to 1,200 euros for an adapted bike. Eligibility is limited to residents of Île-de-France who are of full age or emancipated minors, and the beneficiary must keep the bike for three years without selling it. These are conditions of residence and of age: they only make sense for a natural person.
A company therefore cannot apply for this grant to equip its employees. It concerns the employee who buys their own bike, the case dealt with by our calculator devoted to the personal bike. The page even carries a section headed “Et pour les entreprises ?” (in our translation, and what about companies?), which points to another scheme, the aide à la location de vélos (the bike rental grant).
The rental grant, the only scheme designed for employers
The page for this grant, dated 8 January 2026, sets out its purpose: to encourage the rental of bikes for work-related journeys, from journeys between home and work to trips between several sites. The award regulations, dated 19 December 2023 and in force since 1 January 2024, open the grant to companies that rent bikes for their employees. The amount is 150 euros per bike per year, within the limit of the expenditure excluding VAT actually incurred and evidenced, of five bikes per year per applicant, and of three years, consecutive or not, per applicant. The five-bike cap is indeed annual, not an overall cap across three years.
The conditions come down to three points. The applicant must be entered in the répertoire Sirene (the French national business register) and be in the administrative state “entreprise active” (active company) when the application is filed, a company in the state “cessé” (ceased) being unable to claim the grant. The headcount of the applicant establishment must be below fifty people. The establishment must be located in the Île-de-France region on the date of the application. On this point the regulations refer to articles of the code du travail whose numbering is inaccurate in the text itself; headcount is in fact governed by articles L. 1111-2 and L. 1111-3 of the code du travail.
The regulations cover “all types of bicycle (mechanical bicycle, pedal-assist bicycle, cargo bike, folding or adapted bicycle, electrically assisted trailer)” (our translation), compliant with the regulations in force and which are the subject of a rental between the applicant and a private bicycle rental company. Bikes rented from a local authority, a grouping of local authorities or a public body are excluded. Only bikes rented by the applicant itself give rise to the grant: bikes rented by employees, where the company would meet all or part of the cost, are not eligible. Accessory and maintenance costs are taken into account when they appear on the same invoice as the rental.
The timetable is strict. The applicant files a single application per calendar year for all of its bikes, during the year concerned and no later than 15 February of the following year. Invoices must be paid, drawn up in French, denominated in euros and dated within the current calendar year. If the application is accepted, payment is made within four months at most.
One hundred and fifty euros per bike per year, capped at five bikes, does not change the economics of a fleet. The regulations pay the grant within the limit of the annual budget envelope voted by the board of Île-de-France Mobilités, and the platform stays open until 15 February of the following year only if that envelope has not been fully used up. There is nothing to show that the 2026 envelope is still available: this grant is to be treated as a possible bonus, never as a line in a financing plan.
Ville de Paris: a purchase grant that excludes crédit-bail, and a bike parking grant
The Ville de Paris page devoted to financial grants for eco-mobility, updated on 1 October 2026, has a section for businesses, with a stated aim: “to make it possible for Paris businesses to give up motor vehicles” (our translation). Two of these grants concern the bike. Both are open to companies with fewer than fifty employees registered with the registre du commerce et des sociétés de Paris (the Paris trade and companies register), to sole traders and members of the liberal professions domiciled in Paris, and to certain charitable associations recognised as being of public utility that hold premises in Paris, with a maximum of one grant per entity.
The purchase grant, reserved for one category of bike
The first grant funds the purchase of a cargo bike or a cargo tricycle, which the Ville defines as a two- or three-wheeled cycle fitted with a platform or a box at the front or the rear, with or without electric assistance. It amounts to 50% of the purchase price excluding VAT, capped at 1,200 euros. The bike must be new, bought by the company after 22 October 2024, marked with a unique identifier entered in the fichier national unique des cycles identifiés (the French national register of identified cycles), carry a reference to standard EN 15194 on its approval certificate where it is pedal-assisted, and not be fitted with a lead-acid battery. The handling of applications concerning refurbished bikes is suspended, following AFNOR's decision to discontinue the V3R label.
This grant covers only that category of bike. A pedal-assist bike of another type, bought by a company for its employees, gives rise to no grant from the Ville: its pedal-assist bike grant is reserved for private individuals living in Paris, subject to an income condition.
The point that bears directly on a financed fleet is drafted without ambiguity: “Vehicles under rental, long-term rental or rental with a purchase option (leasing or crédit-bail) are not eligible” (our translation). The same exclusion appears in the Ville's other business grants that concern the purchase of a vehicle. A Paris company that finances its bikes under a crédit-bail contract cannot claim these 1,200 euros. The grant's factsheet still mentions a possible top-up from the Région Île-de-France; for a bike, that top-up no longer exists, as the next section explains.
Installing a secure bike shelter
The second grant funds the installation of a secure bike shelter at the address of the company's Paris establishment, at 50% of the price of the works excluding VAT, capped at 2,000 euros. The shelter must be installed in a secure place, premises or a courtyard closed by a code, a badge or a key, include stands anchored to the floor or the wall where the size of the premises allows, be protected from the weather along the whole length of the bike if it is built in an open place, and allow adult bikes to be parked. Its conditions concern the premises and the company; they say nothing about how the bikes parked there are financed. It is the only funding window identified whose conditions do not depend on the arrangement chosen for the bikes.
For both grants, the Ville announces a response within an estimated week of filing and payment within four to six months of acceptance, while its general information box mentions a period of about four months. A filed application is not an accepted application.
Région Île-de-France: a closed funding window, and a current scheme that excludes bikes
The Région Île-de-France ran a grant for the acquisition of clean vehicles by Île-de-France businesses. That funding window is closed: according to the practical factsheet of the CCI Paris Île-de-France (the Paris Île-de-France chamber of commerce and industry), updated on 25 June 2026, vehicles had to be ordered before 1 December 2024, the paid invoice dated no later than 1 March 2025 and the complete application sent by the same date at the latest. The regional FAQ sums it up in one sentence: “Since 2 March 2025, the Région no longer offers a grant for the purchase of electric vehicles” (our translation). It now supports only the conversion of combustion-engined two-, three- or four-wheeled vehicles to electric or hydrogen power, known as the “prime à la non-casse” (the non-scrappage grant), and the acquisition of hydrogen vehicles.
The same FAQ, in its version updated on 25 March 2025, settles two points for the current scheme. First on the range of equipment: “Bicycles and scooters, unregistered vehicles and vehicles with a lead-acid battery are not eligible” (our translation). A pedal-assist bike remains an unregistered cycle: it falls outside the scope of this grant. Then on the financing arrangement: crédit-bail, leasing and location avec option d'achat (rental with a purchase option) are treated there as rental, and are therefore not eligible.
The “regional bike grant” sometimes mentioned is not this scheme. The regional news item devoted to clean vehicles itself refers, under the heading “Et toujours des aides à l'achat de vélos” (and still grants for buying bikes, our translation), to the two grants described above: the purchase grant for private individuals and the 150-euro rental grant for companies with fewer than fifty people. As at 10 October 2026, no regional grant for the acquisition of bikes by a legal entity has been identified.
Bonus vélo and prime à la conversion: two national grants abolished
Décret n° 2024-1084 of 29 November 2024 on grants for the purchase or rental of low-emission vehicles, published in the Journal officiel (the French official gazette) of 1 December 2024, repealed articles D. 251-1-1 to D. 251-1-4 of the code de l'énergie, which carried the bonus vélo (the French national bike purchase grant), as well as articles D. 251-4 to D. 251-4-4, which carried the prime à la conversion (the French scrappage grant). The repeal took effect the day after publication. The former rules were kept, where they were more favourable, only for vehicles ordered or rented before that date and for cycles, provided that their invoicing, or payment of the first rental instalment, took place no later than 14 February 2025.
As at 10 October 2026, no State grant finances the purchase or rental of a bike, either by a private individual or by a company. The grants paid by energy suppliers under the certificats d'économies d'énergie fall under another scheme, examined below. Only the text published in the Journal officiel is authoritative.
Energy savings certificates (CEE): neither a sheet nor a programme to equip a company with bikes
The certificats d'économies d'énergie scheme follows two routes. The fiches d'opérations standardisées (standardised operation sheets), published by arrêté, set the requirements and the flat-rate energy saving attached to a specific operation. The programmes d'accompagnement (support programmes), also defined by arrêté, allow the parties subject to obligations under the scheme to obtain certificates in return for a financial contribution to information, training or innovation actions. The scheme's sixth period began on 1 January 2026 and will end on 31 December 2030. For equipping a company with bikes, neither route is open as at 10 October 2026.
Two bike sheets, none open to a company
Two fiches d'opérations standardisées in the list published by the ministry concern the bike. Sheet TRA-EQ-121 “Vélo à assistance électrique” (pedal-assist bike), which the ministry's page of sheets still offers in its version applicable since 1 January 2024, covers the purchase, or rental for at least six months, of a new pedal-assist bike by a natural person, for operations begun before 1 July 2028: it does not apply to a company equipping its employees. Sheet TRA-EQ-131, the only one open to legal entities, was reserved for cargo bikes. An arrêté of 19 February 2025 repealed its first version, entitled “Achat ou location, par une personne morale, de vélos-cargos neufs ou reconditionnés” (purchase or rental, by a legal entity, of new or refurbished cargo bikes, our translation). An arrêté of 18 August 2025 created a new one, “Achat ou location longue durée de vélos-cargos à assistance électrique neufs” (purchase or long-term rental of new pedal-assist cargo bikes, our translation), applicable to operations begun on or after 1 September 2025 and valued at 83,000 kWh cumac per bike. An arrêté of 29 September 2025, published in the Journal officiel of 30 September 2025, repealed it in turn, keeping it only for the operations recorded in a list to be sent to the minister responsible for energy within three calendar days. The recreated sheet lasted a month.
The consolidated version of the arrêté of 22 December 2014 defining standardised energy-saving operations, in force as at 10 October 2026, still carries the statement that sheet TRA-EQ-131 is repealed, and no other sheet in the transport-sector list published by the ministry covers the purchase or rental of bikes by a legal entity.
The ministry page listing the sheets, updated on 24 September 2026, still makes the documents for sheet TRA-EQ-131 available online, including a part A attestation applicable from 1 July 2026. These documents do not reopen the sheet: the text in force declares it repealed, and only the operations recorded when it was repealed can still rely on it. A document left online is not a legal instrument, and any commercial proposal that costs in a grant on that basis must be set aside.
The programmes for employers and for bike parking have ended
The Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo programme (the French pro-cycling employer scheme), run by the Fédération française des usagers de la bicyclette (the French cyclists' federation), co-funded 40 to 60% of approved pro-cycling equipment and services, including parking, on employers' sites. The ministry lists it among the programmes that have ended, with an end in 2024, and its website states that registration is closed. The Employeur Pro-Vélo label remains available, on quotation, outside the programme.
The Alvéole Plus programme, which funded sheltered and secure bike parking for schools, stations, public spaces, co-owned residential buildings and social housing, has also ended: the ministry lists it among the programmes that have ended, with an end in 2025, and its website announced an end date of 31 March 2026.
The bike-related programmes still running, according to the ministry page updated on 3 September 2026 and the catalogue of programmes of August 2026, do not fund the equipment of an employer. “Mon vélo de A à Z” (my bike from A to Z) supports people in energy poverty, AVELO 3, run by ADEME, supports until 31 December 2026 the cycling policies of territories with fewer than 250,000 inhabitants, and the third, devoted to raising awareness among and training professional players, does not fund the equipment of employees with bikes either. As at that date, the ministry page publishes no open call for programmes for the sixth period. As at 10 October 2026, no certificats d'économies d'énergie programme funds the equipment of a company with bikes or with bike parking.
Métropole du Grand Paris and ADEME: nothing for a company fleet
The Métropole du Grand Paris runs the Métropole Roule Propre scheme (the Métropole's clean-vehicle grant), which its page, consulted on 10 October 2026, presents as continuing. The grant is “strictly reserved for inhabitants” (our translation) of the Métropole's communes (municipalities), requires the destruction of an old vehicle that it replaces, and is capped at 500 euros for a new pedal-assist bike. The scheme is closed to legal entities: a company cannot claim under it.
ADEME, for its part, does not appear as a funding window for a company fleet. Its AVELO 3 programme, funded by the certificats d'économies d'énergie, is aimed at local authorities. No direct ADEME grant for the purchase or financing of bikes by a private company has been identified in the course of this research.
Bicycle fleet tax reduction: article 220 undecies A
Article 220 undecies A of the code général des impôts provides a reduction in corporate tax, often called a tax credit, rather than a subsidy. It allows companies subject to that tax to benefit from a reduction in respect of the costs incurred in making a fleet of bikes available free of charge to their employees for their journeys between home and workplace. The reduction is equal to those costs, taken into account up to 25% of the purchase or rental price of the fleet: the 25% is a cap, not a percentage of the costs. It applies to costs incurred until 31 December 2027, in the version of the article in force since 31 December 2023 and still applicable as at 10 October 2026. It is set against the tax for the financial year in which the costs were incurred, and any excess is neither refundable nor carried forward, which is what distinguishes it from a true tax credit. It is declared on form no. 2069-RCI-SD.
The administrative commentary, BOI-IS-RICI-20-30 in the BOFiP (the French tax administration's published body of commentary), in its version published on 8 January 2025 and still in force, adds four clarifications. Pedal-assist bikes are eligible, by reference to the definitions in the code de la route, the French Highway Code (paragraph 20). The expenditure taken into account comprises depreciation of the bikes, safety equipment, theft insurance, maintenance, and the construction, fitting-out or rental of a bike parking area or bike room (paragraph 40). Rental expenditure is taken into account only if the company has entered into a contract with a rental company for the rental of a fleet of bikes for a minimum term of three years (paragraph 50). Finally, the 25% limit is assessed per purchase or rental and not per financial year: it is a single cap, and the price may be taken inclusive of all taxes, since value added tax is not deductible on these vehicles (paragraph 60).
The text targets a specific use. Paragraph 30 requires the company to be able to show that its employees use the bikes for their journey between home and work, while allowing other journeys, business or private. A company bike, which the employee keeps to go home, fits this logic. A pool bike reserved for journeys during working time, which is never used for the journey between home and work, does not meet the condition laid down by the text.
For a fleet financed under a crédit-bail, eligibility is not established. The doctrine reasons in terms of the owner's depreciation charges or of rentals paid to a rental company, and does not mention crédit-bail. This point is to be secured with the tax administration through a request for a rescrit (a binding advance ruling), and we do not present it as an acquired advantage. The social security treatment of the avantage en nature (benefit in kind under French payroll rules) and the detail of the calculation are set out on our page devoted to the company bike and the avantage en nature.
The forfait mobilités durables concerns only the employee's own bike
The forfait mobilités durables covers costs incurred by the employee who travels to work on their own bike, or on a bike they rent; it is neither a grant to the company nor a means of financing a fleet. The page of the ministry responsible for transport, updated on 27 March 2026, expressly lists “les vélos et véhicules de fonction” (company bikes and company vehicles, our translation) among the modes not eligible to date. A company bike cannot therefore, for that same bike, give rise to an entitlement to the forfait. Its treatment, the caps of 600 and 900 euros and how to put it in place are detailed on our page devoted to the forfait mobilités durables.
Ownership, rental, crédit-bail: what the texts settle and what they leave open
Two schemes answer expressly. The Ville de Paris names crédit-bail among the arrangements excluded from its business grants for the purchase of a vehicle. The Région Île-de-France does the same in its FAQ, treating crédit-bail and leasing as non-eligible rental. On these two funding windows the answer is negative and there is no room for interpretation: ownership of the equipment is a condition of the grant.
Two schemes do not answer. The award regulations for the Île-de-France Mobilités rental grant do subsidise a rental, but they define it as a rental “between the Applicant and a private bicycle rental company” (our translation), and they say nothing about crédit-bail or location avec option d'achat. The tax doctrine on article 220 undecies A reasons in terms of the owner's depreciation or of rentals paid to a rental company, without mentioning crédit-bail either. Neither exclusion nor admission. The only serious course is to put the question in writing to the office handling applications, or to the tax administration through a rescrit request, before committing to the order, and to keep the advantage out of the calculation until an answer has been obtained.
One scheme is indifferent to the arrangement: the Ville de Paris grant for installing a secure bike shelter concerns works, and its conditions do not address how the bikes are financed.
A general rule emerges from these readings. Funding windows built to subsidise a purchase require ownership and rule out crédit-bail. Those aimed at a rental or at making bikes available stay silent on this particular arrangement. A company that finances its fleet under a crédit-bail must therefore reason without any grant, and treat any subsidy obtained as an incidental gain.

Commune grants, related schemes and payment timing
Other grants may exist in Île-de-France. The eight départements franciliens and the Métropole's établissements publics territoriaux have not been audited one by one, and some communes run cycling policies of their own. A company based outside Paris would do well to ask its commune and its intercommunalité, putting the same two questions each time: is a legal entity a beneficiary, and is ownership of the equipment required.
Several neighbouring subjects are documented on other pages of this site. The forfait mobilités durables, which compensates the employee who uses their own bike, has a page of its own. The social security treatment of the company bike and the calculation of the tax reduction are set out on our page devoted to the avantage en nature. The full cost of a bike fleet, compared with that of your current business journeys, is dealt with separately. So are the ZFE and Crit'Air rules applicable to company cars in Paris and in the Métropole. Parking and storage constraints for the bikes are detailed on our page devoted to folding and compact bikes in the workplace.
No payment is automatic. The Île-de-France Mobilités grant is paid within the limit of an annual budget envelope, the Ville de Paris grants are awarded or refused application by application, and a compliant application is not a paid application.
The role of Wander Fleet, and what it rules out
Wander Fleet puts Île-de-France companies in touch with crédit-bail companies that may be willing to finance their pedal-assist company bikes or pool bikes. This activity corresponds to that of the indicateur referred to in point 2° of article R. 519-2 of the code monétaire et financier: the role is limited to passing the contact details of an interested person to a credit institution or a financing company. Wander is not registered with ORIAS and carries on no banking-transaction intermediation activity.
Three consequences follow. Wander does not finance and does not lend: the financing is granted by a crédit-bail company, separate from Wander. Wander sends no costing to any given client: the monthly payment, the term, the guarantees, the residual value and acceptance of the application are matters for the finance house alone; the site's calculators, self-service and based on published, adjustable assumptions, are not a costing addressed to anyone. Wander claims no partnership: no financing contract has been signed to date, and any statement to the contrary would be inaccurate.
On grants, the position is the same. We document the state of the law and we tell you where to read the regulations. We do not file the applications on your behalf, we guarantee no award, and we build no sales argument on a subsidy whose award does not depend on us.
Wander Fleet's role as business introducer
Wander SAS operates Wander Fleet and acts as apporteur d'affaires (business introducer) to Île-de-France companies equipping their employees with pedal-assist company bikes or pool bikes. The financing is provided by a crédit-bail company, separate from Wander. Wander presents the application to those houses without being a party to the financing. Wander grants no financing, is neither a credit institution nor a financing company, is not an intermediary in banking transactions and payment services, is not registered with ORIAS and gives no credit advice. Our involvement is that of the mere indicateur referred to in point 2° of article R. 519-2 of the code monétaire et financier. No rental amount is set or passed on by Wander: the financial terms are communicated to you directly by the house you select, subject to acceptance of the application.
Electric bike grants for companies: frequently asked questions
Is there still a national grant for the purchase of a bike by a company?
No. The bonus vélo was abolished by décret n° 2024-1084 of 29 November 2024, which repealed articles D. 251-1-1 to D. 251-1-4 of the code de l'énergie, with a transitional carry-over that ended on 14 February 2025, the deadline for invoicing or for payment of the first rental instalment. The prime à la conversion was abolished by the same décret. No State grant for the purchase of a bike is open as at 10 October 2026.
Can an Île-de-France company receive the Île-de-France Mobilités bike grants?
Not the purchase grant, which is reserved for residents of Île-de-France who are of full age or emancipated minors, in other words for natural persons. The company can, on the other hand, apply for the bike rental grant if the applicant establishment has fewer than fifty people: 150 euros per bike per year, within the limit of the expenditure incurred, of five bikes per year and of three years per applicant, and within the limit of the annual budget envelope. The regulations of 19 December 2023 cover a rental entered into with a private bicycle rental company and mention neither crédit-bail nor location avec option d'achat: in the absence of a written position from the office handling applications, this grant must not be built into the financing plan of a fleet under crédit-bail.
Does a fleet financed under a crédit-bail qualify for the Ville de Paris grants?
Not for the purchase grant. The Ville writes that rented vehicles, including those under location avec option d'achat, leasing or crédit-bail, are not eligible. Its grant of 50% of the purchase price excluding VAT, capped at 1,200 euros, therefore presupposes a purchase, and it covers only new cargo bikes and cargo tricycles acquired after 22 October 2024 by a company with fewer than fifty employees registered with the registre du commerce et des sociétés de Paris. The grant for installing a secure bike shelter, of 50% of the price of the works excluding VAT capped at 2,000 euros, on the other hand sets no condition on how the bikes are financed.
Does the tax reduction under article 220 undecies A apply to company bikes?
Yes, subject to conditions, for a company subject to corporate tax that makes bikes available free of charge to its employees for their journeys between home and work. The reduction is equal to the costs of making them available, taken into account up to 25% of the purchase or rental price of the fleet, a limit assessed per purchase or rental and not per financial year, for costs incurred until 31 December 2027. A pool bike that is never used for the journey between home and work does not meet the condition laid down by the text. The eligibility of a fleet financed under a crédit-bail is not established: the text and the doctrine refer to a rental contract of at least three years entered into with a rental company and do not mention crédit-bail.
Can the forfait mobilités durables be added on top of a company bike?
No, not for that bike. The forfait mobilités durables covers costs incurred by the employee, for example for their own bike. The page of the ministry responsible for transport, updated on 27 March 2026, lists company bikes and company vehicles among the modes not eligible to date. Our dedicated page on the forfait mobilités durables details its treatment and its caps.
Is there a grant linked to the certificats d'économies d'énergie for bikes or for a company bike room?
Not for a company, as at 10 October 2026. The only fiche d'opération standardisée open to a legal entity for bikes, sheet TRA-EQ-131, reserved for cargo bikes, was repealed by an arrêté of 29 September 2025, and the consolidated version in force of the arrêté of 22 December 2014 still declares it repealed. Sheet TRA-EQ-121, devoted to the pedal-assist bike, is reserved for natural persons. The programmes for employers and for bike parking, Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo and Alvéole Plus, have ended, and the bike programmes still running do not fund the equipment of an employer.
Can Wander put together the grant application for us, or quote us a monthly payment?
Neither, in fact. Wander Fleet acts as the indicateur referred to in point 2° of article R. 519-2 of the code monétaire et financier, outside ORIAS. Wander files no grant application on your behalf and guarantees no award. Wander does not finance, does not negotiate and sends no costing to any given client: the monthly payment, the term, the guarantees and acceptance are matters for a crédit-bail company, separate from Wander; the site's calculators, self-service and based on published, adjustable assumptions, are not a costing addressed to anyone. No financing contract has been signed to date.

Have your journeys studied and a bike fleet sized
Tell us about your journeys, your sites and your teams. We send you a usage and equipment study: a machine configuration and a fleet sizing. We then point you to crédit-bail companies and present your application to them, without being a party to the financing. The financial terms, including any rental amount, are communicated to you directly by the finance house you select: Wander neither sets them nor passes them on.
Our study constitutes neither an offer, nor a proposal, nor a promise of financing. The terms are set by the finance house, subject to acceptance of the application.
