Low-emission zone
The Greater Paris low-emission zone keeps tightening its Crit'Air rules. A cargo bike, classified as a cycle, rides freely with no permit to request.
Wander Fleet equips your teams with Tern electric cargo bikes, as company bikes or service bikes, financed through a lease with a finance company separate from Wander. A predictable monthly fee, vehicles that stay low-emission-zone compliant for good, and a turnkey rollout.
Financing provided by a leasing company
Traffic restrictions, fuel costs, nowhere to park, ESG expectations: the combustion van is becoming a liability in the city core. The electric cargo bike answers all four at once.
The Greater Paris low-emission zone keeps tightening its Crit'Air rules. A cargo bike, classified as a cycle, rides freely with no permit to request.
Fuel, maintenance, parking, annual emissions taxes: an urban van is expensive year after year. The cargo bike removes most of it.
Congestion, hunting for a spot, reversing. In dense areas the cargo bike slips through and parks right at the customer's door.
Carbon footprint, scope 3, client and talent expectations. A bike fleet is a clear, measurable signal.
Wander Fleet selects the bikes, introduces your request to leasing or finance-lease companies and handles the rollout follow-up. You pay a monthly rental, you ride.
Tern electric cargo bikes, sized to your loads, distances and terrain. Up to 200 kg of payload.
We introduce you to leasing or finance-lease companies. A fixed monthly fee booked as an expense, with a 1% residual value at the end of the contract.
We organise preventive maintenance with specialist workshops, track the service and battery schedule, and support the rollout. Our role: keeping the fleet on the road.
You don't buy the bikes: a leasing or finance-lease company acquires them and rents them to you with a purchase option. Wander Fleet orchestrates the whole thing as a business introducer and service partner.
Audit of your rounds and loads, model selection. Cost assumptions can be explored with the site's public simulators.
The leasing company buys the fleet and sets up the lease-with-purchase-option contract in your name.
Delivery, team onboarding, accessories and maintenance. The fleet rolls.
Exercise the option at 1% residual value, renew, or hand back. You stay in control.
Three key financial benefits. No cash outlay to acquire. Monthly rental booked as an expense; note that in France, VAT on bicycle rentals is not recoverable by default, apart from specific configurations to be confirmed with your accountant. No exposure to equipment depreciation thanks to the 1% residual value.
We distribute the Tern cargo range, a benchmark in professional longtails: Bosch motor, hydraulic braking, a central kickstand stable even when loaded. Pedal-assist bikes limited to 25 km/h, classified as cycles, with no registration or licence.
The versatile compact longtail. Ideal for last-mile delivery, technical services and everyday urban logistics.
The same base, with the Rohloff internal hub transmission: near-zero maintenance, longer life. The choice when you manage total cost over the long run.
Structural specifications as published by the manufacturer. The exact model, configuration and price are confirmed in the personalised study. Other models in the Tern range (HSD, Quick Haul, Orox) are available as needed.
A predictable monthly cost booked as an expense, nothing tied up, no depreciation to carry. Total urban running cost collapses against a combustion van.
In dense areas the cargo bike makes more stops per hour than a van and parks instantly. No low-emission-zone pass, no exemption to request.
No direct emissions in use and a carbon footprint far below a diesel van over the usage cycle, according to Ademe studies. A measurable effect on scope 3.
The French sustainable mobility allowance complements the fleet: it compensates, up to €600 per year free of charges, employees who commute on their own bike. A fleet provided by the employer does not qualify: the two schemes add up within a clear mobility policy.
Supported rollout, preventive maintenance organised with third-party workshops, service and battery schedule tracked. Fleet availability is monitored, not endured.
A decision that aligns costs, regulatory compliance, brand image and employer appeal. A single point of contact to run it.

And in carbon terms? The follow-up question, common to every answer (page in French).
Enter how many urban combustion vans you plan to replace. You get an indicative range; the personalised study refines it on your real data.
And in carbon terms? (page in French)
Strictly indicative estimate, based on orders of magnitude for urban total cost of ownership (acquisition, energy, maintenance, insurance, taxes, parking). It is neither a quote nor a commitment. Only the personalised study, confirmed with your accountant, is binding.
Tell us about your rounds in a few words. We come back with a fleet proposal and the financing options; pricing comes from the finance provider.

No. The cargo bikes we distribute are pedal-assist bikes limited to 25 km/h, classified as cycles under the Highway Code. No licence, no registration, no compulsory motor-vehicle insurance (professional liability insurance is still recommended).
No. As they are classified as cycles, the bikes have no Crit'Air sticker and are subject to no restriction in the Greater Paris low-emission zone. They ride at any hour, with no zone pass or exemption to request.
No, unless you want to. The standard scheme is leasing: a finance company acquires the fleet and rents it to you with a purchase option. You pay a monthly fee, with no cash tied up. Wander Fleet is a business introducer and is not the finance provider.
Tern GSD models take up to 200 kg of total payload (rider, accessories and load included). Enough to cover the vast majority of urban delivery and technical-service rounds.
We organise it as service partner: preventive maintenance scheduled with specialist workshops, service and battery calendar tracked. The work itself is carried out by third-party workshops; the exact scope is set out in the proposal.
Our rollout is focused on the Greater Paris region. For a project elsewhere, get in touch: we look at each request case by case.
